a perfect binder? How does it work? See
an exploded diagram of our state of the art perfect binding equipment.
We are the only commercial binder in the St. Louis area to use Signature
Recognition Scanners. These high-tech devices practically insure
a perfect job and can dramatically reduce waste.
The folded signatures are collated on the binder and
the spine is then ground-off in order to expose the fibers in the
paper. A hot melt adhesive is applied to the spine within 7 seconds,
and then the cover is applied.

Regular perfect binding can use signatures off a web, supplied
folded from your folding department, or we can fold them for you.
Notch Binding, on the other hand, means Wrap-Ups must do the folding.
